Finding Your Perfect Eyebrow Shape!

Finding Your Perfect Eyebrow Shape!

keep your eyebrows in tip top shape

It may seem hard to believe, but people judge your eyebrows more than you’d think. They can say a lot about a person, if they don’t look after there eyebrows, then people think the person won’t look after themselves. However, eyebrows can make you look more attractive, enhance your beauty and your confidence, and will most likely assist in a good first impression when meeting new people. And this is not just restricted to womens eyebrows, men can shape theirs too, it won’t affect their masculinity, especially not in this generation!

The way you shape your eyebrows has an effect on the overall look of your face. So different face shapes require different eyebrow shapes to make them look their best.

Here are the shapes of eyebrows that suit these face shapes the best:

Curved Shaped Eyebrow, this is usually known as the best shape for faces with sharp angular shape, or heart shaped faces, as the curved shape helps soften the overall appearance of the face, make it seem less harsh. The important thing is to make sure the area of the upward and downward slope slope properly and proportionally to each other. For a diamond face shape, keep the curve of the brow, but add a little more definition to the centre arch to draw width away from the face.

Soft Arched Shaped Eyebrow, most likely known as the most suitable shape for almost all face shapes. It looks similar to the angled shape eyebrow, but without the steep edges. The brow starts at the inner corner of the eye and will should move upwards to the outer side and then makes a gentle downward slope to the outer edge of the eye, making sure the slope isn’t too harsh and sharp. This suits oval shaped faces the best.

‘S’ Shaped Eyebrow, this style is similar to high arched shape eyebrow, but the brow straightens out towards the nose, causing a slight curve. This suits square shaped faces the best, as the high arch separates a round face, making it seem less round. A curved eyebrow would the the least flattering on a square/round face shape because it will make the face look wider.

High Arched Shape Eyebrow, known most suitably for round/square or diamond shaped faces, as the high arch separates the wideness of the face and makes it appear thinner.

Flat Shaped Eyebrow. which is known as the best shape for eyes that are widely spaced apart, as this brow shape can help make the eyes closer together. Long and narrow faces can also use this shape as it makes the face appear much wider.
These are just guidelines for eyebrow shapes, as you should decide which shape you think suits your face the best.

Here are some tips of how to keep your eyebrows in tip top shape:

To prevent eyebrow hair fall, moisturising your eyebrows locks moisture in.
If you want thicker and darker eyebrow growth, massage castor oil into your brows.
If you apply ginger juice on eyebrows daily, it helps in stopping eyebrow hair fall.
Brush eyebrows daily with an eyebrow brush, as this increases blood circulation around the area. If you don’t have a brush, use a clean old toothbrush or lightly massage with your finger tips.
Although some plucking may need to be done here and there, leave tweezing and waxing to the professionals.
If you have to pluck at home, try and stand further away from the mirror, as standing too close can make you lose symmetry.
